Guests may check-in at any time after at 2 PM, and are required to check out by 11 AM.
The last one to two kilometres of the road leading to the premises may have potholes at certain times of the year.
Guests are reminded that Villa Nine is a homestay in a rural area which may not have all the facilities of urban living. In case of a power outage, temporary backup is provided via an inverter that powers lights and fans in the premises for up to 6 hours. In the unlikely event of a longer outage late at night, generator backup will be provided at the discretion of the Host. Please note that there may be short periods of load-shedding in and around summer and monsoons.
In case guests require uninterrupted power backup at all times, fuel for the generator will be charged to the guests at actuals. In the event an outage exceeds 4 hours at a stretch, the Host will provide fuel for the generator for the remaining duration of the outage at their discretion.
The caretaker stays on the premises of the same property and is accessible until 11PM. Social distancing rules will be followed by the staff during the COVID-19 pandemic pursuant to the guidelines at the time. Guests are requested to respect the guidelines outlined by WHO.
Guests can stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Network is subject to availability at any given time and cannot be guaranteed by the host. Guests are recommended to carry their own portable internet devices in case of network unavailability. Airtel and Reliance Jio networks receive adequate coverage at Villa Nine.
Please be mindful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM.
Please do not carry food/drinks in and around the pool. Pool timings are 8AM to 10PM. Soiling of pool water may result in deductions from the security deposit.
Children are the sole responsibility of their parents / guardians, and should be supervised at all times, especially while they are in or around the pool.
Guests are required to wear swimming attire in the pool and kindly shower before entering.
Villa Nine is a pet friendly homestay and also houses its own guard dogs for the safety of the property, its residents, and permitted visitors. They are trained to familiarise themselves with any permitted visitors in order to perform their job effectively and pose no threat to them. Guests are expected to be mindful and respectful of the same.
Guests must request for explicit permission from the Host prior to bringing their pets with them. While we welcome pets at Villa Nine, guests are reminded that they must bear the sole responsibility for their pets at all times, including cleaning up after them. Pets must relieve themselves outside the villa and not indoors, including in the bathrooms.
Please note that pets are NOT permitted in the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, any tables or elevated surfaces (including the bar, pool table, and any such surfaces), or in the kitchen. Rectification of any damage caused by pets and the associated costs of rectification lies solely with the guests.
The villa will be cleaned once per day; extra cleaning will attract additional charges at the discretion of the Host.
Smoking is allowed in the exterior areas of the villa ONLY.
Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home and its surroundings with care. Prices may vary subject to availability and seasonal rates.
Adult guests can enjoy a soak in the Jacuzzi at no extra charge for up to two hours, and must inform the caretaker of an approximate time at least five hours in advance. The Jacuzzi may not be operational at certain times of the year, including but not limited to periods of excess load on the electric grid, for safety reasons, during peak summer, and during monsoons.
Guests are expected to factor in that while the monsoons offer a unique experience to our guests, some facilities may be inoperative or be operating in a limited capacity, the effects of which may continue onto days in which it hasn’t rained. These include use of the jacuzzi, outdoor activities, use of speakers outdoors, and filtration of the pool (it will remain disinfected and safe to use in most cases, however, heavy rain may cause a slight change in colour temporarily), to name a few.
Guests are requested to limit their use of the pool table only for cue sports, and are not permitted to use it for anything else. Sitting, lying down, keeping luggage, or applying weight on the pool table is strictly not permitted. A charge may be levied to call a professional to inspect the table if guests are found to be indulging in the above. Guests are also requested to keep all liquids away from the pool table, operate the table with dry hands, and handle the equipment with care. Only guests over the age of 16 are permitted to use the pool table.
We expect our guests to have a lot of fun! This goes most smoothly when everyone is considerate of others around them. We do train the caretakers to resolve any concerns efficiently, but if you still face any issues, we request you to connect with us, and our team will promptly help. We trust you to treat the staff and any other people around with respect.
Terms and Conditions
Full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed.
The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa. Should the number of guests at the villa exceed the number mentioned during booking, additional charges may be levied at the discretion of the Host.
All guests must be able to share at least one original and valid ID proof when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
Villa Nine is a safe and inclusive space for people of all gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, demographics – we love to provide a warm welcome to everyone. However, single- gender groups and younger people / student groups are not permitted at Villa Nine unless explicitly stated by the host at the time of booking.
Any illegal activity - including but not limited to prostitution and use of narcotics - is strictly prohibited. We promptly report the use of drugs or any other type of illegal activity to the police, and they tend to offer an alternate accommodation that is not quite as pleasant as this lovely home. We would not recommend it at all!.
Any commercial activity is strictly prohibited and may result in cancellation of the stay, deductions from the security deposit, or further action at the discretion of the Host.

Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings, including but not limited to valuables, clothing, electronic devices, vehicles, and any other belongings they may have carried. The Ninth Aura and its staff will not be held responsible for any losses incurred by guests during or after their stay.
Water and electricity are included under FAIR USE guidelines. Guests are expected not to waste resources by turning off taps, lights, fans, air conditioners, and any other electrical appliances when not in use. Any undue wastage of resources may incur extra charges.
A refundable security deposit is payable upon check-in, and will be refunded post inspection at check-out, provided guests adhere to check-in and check-out timings, clear all dues before checking out, treat the premises with respect, and leave it clean and damage free. The amount for the deposit will be communicated to the guests by the host at least 48 hours before check-in.
Misuse of resources, property damage, misrepresentation of facts, misbehaviour with staff, unethical or troublesome behaviour may result in deduction of security deposit, cancellation of stay, or further action at the sole discretion of the Host.
Any damage to the property caused by guests will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement. This must be cleared before the guests check out.
Cancellation Policy
By The Ninth Aura:
Guests will be provided one of the following options at the sole discretion of The Ninth Aura in case of any relocation or cancellation by us:
1. We reserve to right to cancel a booking;
2. Book an alternative comparable available home;
3. Offer a future Credit Note (validity of 6 months from date of issuance) of the full
amount paid;
By Guests:
While our mission is to provide guests with exceptional vacation experiences, we understand that many other important factors might affect your decision to travel. Please note that travel failures, such as cancelled or missed flights, trains, and other such connectivity failures cannot be accepted. Final decisions are at the discretion of the Host, and will be considered with utmost fairness.
Bookings once made cannot be cancelled unless extenuating circumstances are a factor, including but not limited to:
1. Medical emergency or hospitalisation of a guest that renders them unable to travel;
2. Death of a guest or nuclear family member.
Keeping in mind the COVID-19 pandemic, the following policies apply for ALL future bookings.
Decisions are made at the sole discretion of the Host:
1. For the special policy under COVID-19, cancellations will be processed only in case of an official lockdown imposed by local authorities in Maharashtra;
2. Cancellations in case of a positive case of COVID-19 will not be entertained for check- ins from 1 April 2022 onwards, especially if guests are not fully vaccinated with any of the available COVID-19 vaccines;
3. In order to request for cancellation under the COVID-19 policy (updated to allow cancellation only in case of an official lockdown), the lead booker must provide us with a list of all guests that are part of the booking at the time of confirmation. Cancellation will not be applicable under this policy unless the lead booker furnishes the list at the time of booking;
4. The COVID-19 policy does not include cancellations for bookings on peak dates;
5. We may offer a future Credit Note (validity of 3 months from date of issuance) of the
full amount paid.
Important information about future credit notes:
1. Dates for booking against future credit notes are strictly subject to availability;
2. Bookings accepted against these are at the sole discretion of the Host;
3. Future credit notes are valid for a period of three months (unless explicitly stated
otherwise) and may not be availed on peak dates;
4. In case a booking is made at a discounted rate, the future booking against a credit note will be charged at the full rate;
5. Future credit notes may only be availed once. In case the value of the credit note exceeds the value of the future booking, no adjustments will be made.
